Ms. Lucy Reckseit is a corporate attorney with extensive experience counseling mid-stage to late-stage venture-backed companies across a variety of sectors. In 1998, she pioneered the part-time or “fractional” in-house general counsel model for companies that are not yet in need of a full-time in-house counsel.
Among her “extracurricular” activities, Lucy serves on the global advisory board for Astia (formerly, the Women’s Technology Cluster), an international accelerator for women-led companies. Ms. Reckseit is also a Board Advisor for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the global Association of Corporate Counsel and serves as Chair of the local Pro Bono Committee.
She received her baccalaureate degree in psychology from Vassar College, an interdisciplinary
Masters’ degree in education and developmental psychology from Tulane University and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
