Manuel Rosales

Manuel Rosales is an experienced design and project management professional with a focus on user experience and industrial design. Currently serving as the Manager of Energy UX at Virta Ltd since March 2022, Manuel oversees cross-team product development projects while designing user experiences for energy market services. Previous roles include UX Designer at Virta, Design Researcher for the Lux Turrim 5G+ project, and Project Manager for the Aalto Explorer initiative, which involved creating an underwater exploration product-service system. Early career highlights feature positions as Project Director at Mueblemundo, contributing to textile product improvements, and Junior Industrial Designer at CIDI UNAM, developing a lighter bus seat using innovative materials. Manuel holds a Master of Arts degree in Collaborative and Industrial Design from Aalto University and a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Industrial Design from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
