We are in the early innings of a new industrial revolution reshaping the global economy. Virta Ventures backs and accelerates the companies driving this transformation. We back early stage companies making physical industries more profitable, efficient, and resilient. We focus on energy, transportation, manufacturing, and the built world. We invest in everything from pure software to deeptech. We invest in capital-efficient business models and the most transformational founders. We combine deep operating experience, sector expertise, broad networks, and hands-on coaching. That’s how we help visionary founders build enduring companies.

We are building Virta on our foundation of investing in 50 early stage climate tech companies and our experience founding and building companies, products, and projects across climate tech.

Virta specifically focuses on pre-seed and seed stage climate tech companies working to decarbonize energy, mobility, the built environment and food/agriculture. We target equity-light businesses - typically SaaS, marketplaces, software-enabled services, and fintech/insurtech.
