Daniel Bachofen

As COO, Daniel is in charge of planning, directing, and overseeing VirtaMed's operations including the entire supply chain as well as HR, Quality Management, and Infrastructure. As one of the founders of VirtaMed, and with his 15+ years of simulation experience, he knows the company and solutions inside-out and his passion for the mission and vision helps VirtaMed boost current and future projects to the highest level.

Daniel studied at the University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur and was one of the simulation pioneers at the Computer Vision Lab of ETH Zurich. His passion for VR and simulation is also reflected in his spare time, where Daniel is responsible for flight simulation in his local Aeroclub to help fellow private pilots improve their skills.
