Lars Veum

Lars Veum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in training and education management, particularly in the medical and scientific fields. Currently serving as the Training & Education Manager at VirtaMed since July 2022, Lars previously held a significant role at the AO Foundation from 2010 to 2022, overseeing the AO Surgery Reference as Manager, where responsibilities included managing teams, budgeting, IT solutions, and collaboration with experts on content development. Prior to this, Lars was a Project Manager for AO Surgery Reference, handling educational content projects focused on musculoskeletal disorders. Lars also worked as a Business Development Manager at Solvias AG from 2007 to 2009, fostering client relationships across various regions. Lars holds a PhD in Enzyme Catalysis from Delft University of Technology and has additional degrees in Organic Chemistry from NTNU and Chimie ParisTech.
