Eric Nielsen

Eric Nielsen has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and psychology fields. Eric began their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer at Discover Technology. In 2006, they moved to Auster Solutions do Brasil as a Software Engineer. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Psychologist at a private clinic and Instituto de Psiquiatria do HC FMUSP. In 2012, they joined CORCAM Tecnologia S.A as a Lead Software Engineer. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Avenue Code as a Software Engineer and Technical Evaluator, and as a Lead Software Engineer at Ultréia Consultoria. Since 2016, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Crossover for Work, and since 2021, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Virtasant.

Eric Nielsen's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 1996 to 1999. Eric then obtained a Postgraduate degree in Cognitive Therapies from Instituto de Psiquiatria do HC FMUSP from 2010 to 2012. Eric also obtained a Postgraduate degree in Pedagogy from Universidade Santo Amaro - Unisa from 2008 to 2009, a Postgraduate degree in Anthroposophy, Health from Universidade de Sorocaba from 2007 to 2008, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Centro Universitário Paulistano from 2003 to 2007. In addition, Eric Nielsen holds certifications in Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (obtained in 2014), Clinical Psychologist from Conselho Federal de Psicologia (obtained in 2013), Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.2 from Sun (obtained in 2002), MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration Professional from MuleSoft (obtained in 2015), and MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration and API Associate from MuleSoft (obtained in 2015).
