Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Jon began their career in 1995 as a Technical Manager for Synchronicity Limited. Jon then moved to Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in 1997, where they held the same position. In 1999, they were promoted to Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International. In 2012, they became the Head of Software Development at BATS Chi-X Europe. In 2015, they joined ESW Capital as Product CTO. Jon then moved to Flusspferd Limited in 2014, where they held the role of Director. Most recently, they have been the CTO of Virtasant since 2020.

Jon Thompson attended the University of London from 1991 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Jon then attended the University of Cambridge from 1994 to 1995, where they earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics, which is equivalent to a Master of Science.
