Jerry Holmberg

Jerry Holmberg currently serves as President and CEO of Maven Blood Consultants since January 2022. Prior to this role, Holmberg was Senior Director of Scientific Strategic Innovation at Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Inc. from November 2015 to January 2022, focusing on advancing scientific developments and seeking innovative solutions for clinical laboratory challenges. Other notable positions include Director of Medical Affairs at Grifols, Director of Scientific Affairs at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and Senior Advisor for Blood Policy at the US Department of Health and Human Services. Holmberg also served as a Commander in the US Navy for 20 years. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biology from Bowling Green State University, an MS in Pathology from Michigan State University, a degree in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University, and a Fellowship in Blood Bank from Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
