Michael Awty

Michael Awty has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Michael worked as a Shopping Assistant at Jessops in 2004. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Web Developer at Game-Debate, where they gained experience in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and various other technologies. Michael then transitioned to working as a Freelance Web Developer, taking on various roles at the Bristol Games Hub and using JavaScript, React, Phaser, PHP, Silverstripe, and ProcessWire. Since 2019, they have been working as a React Developer at Virti.

Michael Awty completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in History from the University of Southampton, which they earned between 2007 and 2010. Before that, they attended Queen Mary's College from 2005 to 2007 and obtained A Level qualifications in History, Politics, and Sociology. In 2010-2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History at the University of Southampton. Additionally, from 2010 to 2011, Michael earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Archaeological Computing from the University of Southampton, specializing in that field.
