Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert at VirTra

Mike Clark has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mike started their career in 1987 as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator for the US Navy. During their time there, they logged more than 1500 hours flying anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare missions. In 2014, they transitioned to Wiley and Associates, where they worked as a Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor until 2018. In 2018, they joined VirTra as a Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert, where they are still currently employed.

Mike Clark holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from National University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Force Science Institute Use of Force Analyst from Force Science Institute in January 2019, Firearms Training [Instructor] from the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors in March 2010, National Rifle Association Instructor from the National Rifle Association in December 2015, and Nationally Certified Instructor from the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) in December 2018.
