Nathan MacEy

Nathan Macey is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Forward Deployed Engineer at Virtru since November 2025. Prior to this role, Nathan was a Principal at Dark Wolf from July 2019 to November 2025. Nathan's extensive background includes a long tenure at GEICO from June 2002 to July 2019 as a Linux Systems Administrator, specializing in large scale systems administration, server automation, and automation tools maintenance, particularly with Red Hat, Suse Linux, and Windows environments. Nathan's early experience includes working as a Satellite and Wideband Radio Technician with the 113th Wing of the District of Columbia Air National Guard from August 2002 to July 2004. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Strayer University, completed between 2004 and 2006, and attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1999 to 2001.
