Reed Berinato began their career in 2005 as a Project Manager and Senior Engineer at Buro Happold. In 2008, they moved to The Dome-Tech Group, where they held the role of Project Manager and Senior Energy Engineer. In 2010, they became a Partner at Enica Engineering, where they offered unique services developed in-house to improve the performance of buildings, energy systems, and projects. In 2018, they joined Virtual Facility, Inc. as President & CPO, offering an ML-powered, operations-focused enterprise software package to large-scale facilities.
Reed Berinato holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (BAE) from Penn State University, with a focus in HVAC Design. Reed also holds a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers, a NEBB CP from NEBB, and Professional Engineer (PE) certifications from the State of New Jersey and New York State Education Department.
