Virtual Flight Academy (VFA) is a nonprofit youth aviation training program that offers instruction to aspiring aviators as early as 12 years of age. The objective is to design a fun and stimulating training environment in order to increase proficiency essential to being a pilot operating manned or unmanned aircraft.  Formal aviation training at military or civilian facilities traditionally begins at age 22.  VFA stitches together community, e-learning, and flight simulation services to provide an online training environment and experience.
