Peter Minza has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Peter started their career as a Communications Systems Engineer in the British Army, where they worked from December 1999 to February 2014.

After their military service, Peter joined the UK Government as a Network Support Engineer in November 2008. In this role, they were responsible for provisioning mission-critical military communications and supporting network equipment for high-profile military sites. Peter also managed wide-area network connections and was involved in incident and change management. Peter'stenure with the UK Government lasted until September 2013.

Following their time with the government, Peter joined Arqiva in September 2013 as a 2nd Line IP Network Engineer. Peter provided 2nd and 3rd Line IP network support, managed a service provider network, and configured network monitoring software. Peter also played a role in incident management and change management until October 2015.

In October 2015, Peter Minza transitioned to the role of Network Security Engineer in a Managed Service Provider. Peter'sprimary duties involved remote management of customers' network infrastructure and security, with a focus on LAN, WAN, security, metro-ethernet, and data-center infrastructure. Peter held this position until June 2017.

From July 2017 to June 2018, Peter worked as a Senior Network Security Engineer for the same company. In addition to their remote management responsibilities, they also took on the role of mentoring and providing on-the-job training to junior team members.

In June 2018, Peter Minza joined VirtualArmour as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager. In this role, they led and managed the SOC, mentored and managed the engineering team, and implemented improvements in managed service processes and procedures. Peter ensured incident identification, assessment, and mitigation, and maintained compliance with SLAs and process adherence. Peter also played a significant role in providing subject matter expertise for solutions and services offered by VirtualArmour to their client base. Peter held this position until May 2022.

In May 2022, Peter Minza took on a new role as a Senior Manager MSS Europe and Asia at VirtualArmour, where they oversee the company's managed security services in Europe and Asia. Further details about this role are not provided.

Peter Minza began their education at Ehenside from 1993 to 1997. During this time, they did not pursue a degree or a specific field of study. In 2006, they attended Bournemouth University where they completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Telecommunications Engineering. After their formal education, Peter obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2013, they earned the CCNP (Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco, followed by the CCNA (Routing & Switching) certification in the same year. In 2015, they obtained the Juniper Networks Certified Associate – Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification from Juniper Networks. Peter continued to expand their credentials by acquiring the CCNA (Security) certification from Cisco in 2016. In 2017, they obtained the Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification from Palo Alto Networks, as well as the Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIS-ENT) certification from Juniper Networks. Peter's most recent certification was the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, which they obtained in April 2017.
