Elen Collaço

Elen Collaço is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer at VirtualiSurg since February 2020. Prior to this role, Elen worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at MINES ParisTech, focusing on sensorimotor feedback to enhance surgeons' ergonomics during virtual reality training for a brief period in early 2020. Elen holds a postdoctorate degree from Mines Paris - PSL and a PhD in Computer Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP, completed between 2015 and 2019. Elen's academic journey began with a Computer Science degree from FEI - Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial and further studies at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA.
