Rick Siedle has worked in the IT industry since 1998. Rick began their career as an Audio Engineer at SABC, where they developed a hands-on, broad knowledge of audio engineering software. In 2000, they joined GroupTrade.com as a JAVA Developer, where they were responsible for designing and enhancing the site's general appearance and usability for launch. In 2003, they joined Stonewall+ as a Project Manager and PHP & Action script developer, and was responsible for project management of 5FM music, a national youth-based radio station. In 2005, they became the Owner of Neutone, and in 2010 they became the Director of IT at Virtual Stock Ltd.
Rick Siedle obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1996, majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, and Computer Literacy. Rick then attended IT Technical College and received a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer in 2001, studying Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL server. In 2017, they obtained a Scrum Product Owner Certification from The Knowledge Academy.
