Manas Misra

Manas Misra is currently a Client Delivery Manager at Virtue Analytics. Prior to that, they worked as a Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma Inc. from October 2017 to October 2019. There, they were responsible for the end-to-end delivery of forecasts for a leading medical device manufacturer in the supply chain domain using advanced time series models. Manas also handled the Diabetes business group independently delivering an effective and sustainable solution to the client which led to an increase in forecast accuracy by ~10 percentage points driving reduced back-orders, inventory costs and opportunity losses. In addition, they collaboratively built multiple Power BI Tools enabling better forecast consumption by the demand planners.

Before Mu Sigma Inc., Manas worked as an Android Application Development Intern at Ducat Education from May 2015 to July 2015. There, they modeled business problems into statistical hypotheses and generated insights implementing various regression models and classification techniques. Manas also analyzed vast amounts of both structured and unstructured data to enable critical decision making.

Manas Misra completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from SRM University. Manas also has a certification in Open Water Diver from PADI. In addition, they have completed a certification in Machine Learning A-Z from Udemy and a certification in Introduction to Computer Programming from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. Finally, they have a certification in Fundamentals of Digital Image and Video Processing from Northwestern University.
