Russell Merry

Russell Merry is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the data center and construction sectors. Currently serving as Project Director at VIRTUS Data Centres since February 2023, Russell leads construction project teams and oversees the construction delivery of UK projects. Previously, Russell held the position of Senior Project Manager at BGIS UK & Europe and ISS Facility Services UK, managing a diverse portfolio of projects. Prior roles include Project Manager at Bouygues Energies & Services, where Russell managed significant projects like the design and build of a laboratory at the National Physical Laboratory, and Engineering Operations Manager at EMCOR UK, overseeing engineering operations at a research campus. Russell's early career included roles such as Contract Manager and Duty Manager at CBRE, managing technical operations and contract deliverables across various facilities.
