Simon Ramsell

Simon Ramsell has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Simon currently holds the position of Senior Director, Real Estate Expansion EMEA at VIRTUS Data Centres. Prior to this, they worked as the VP Data Centers Europe at Prologis from 2021 to 2023. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the EMEA Manager Real Estate at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Simon also had significant roles at Amazon UK, including Principal EMEA Real Estate from 2016 to 2021 and Acquisition and Asset Manager for UK Real Estate from 2012 to 2017. Before joining Amazon UK, they worked at John Lewis as a Property Manager and at Wincanton in various property-related positions. Simon started their career at CPS Global Ltd as an Acquisition Manager and also worked as an Agency Surveyor at Dreweatt Neate. Simon began their career as an Estates Manager at UKAEA Harwell International Business Centre.

Simon Ramsell attended the University of Greenwich from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a BSC Honours degree in Building Surveying. After their time at the University, Simon did not pursue any further formal education. However, they did join MRICS, an organization related to their field of study, where they obtained an MRICS degree.
