Amit Bhute is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and payments sector. Currently serving as Sr. Vice President and Global Head of the Banking Practice at Virtusa since April 2018, Amit is responsible for designing the practice, developing Go-to-Market strategies, and collaborating closely with delivery and sales teams to meet market demands. Previously, Amit held key roles at Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd and Infosys, where responsibilities included leading practices in payments, conducting business development, and mentoring teams. Amit's expertise in financial messaging and payment solutions, combined with leadership in transformation initiatives, positions Amit as a recognized authority in the industry. Amit holds an MBA in Finance from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
