Asela Samarasinghe is currently an Architect in Platform Operations at Virtusa, where they manage ITOM in ServiceNow, oversee vulnerability management for enterprise applications, and develop monitoring strategies. Previously, Asela held positions including Lead Consultant and Associate Architect within Virtusa’s Enterprise Application Team, focusing on middleware implementations, cloud migrations, and incident management processes based on ITIL best practices. They began their career as a Software Engineer with the Ministry of Mass Media and Information in Sri Lanka and have also led support engineering efforts for major projects, including a public service application for the ICTA. Asela is pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems Management at Middlesex University while holding an International Advanced Diploma in Computing.
