John Privé

John Privé has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Construction Project Supervisor at Ville de Hampstead in 2011 and 2012, where they coordinated and supervised road infrastructure reconstruction projects. In 2013, they worked as a Stagiaire Genie Civil at Roche ltée, Groupe-conseil, where they coordinated and supervised building and infrastructure projects. John also worked as a Real Estate Property Manager for a privately owned property, where they handled short-term rental agreements and provided round-the-clock availability for any issues.

From 2013 to 2016, John worked as a McGill Student Geotechnical Design Project at SNC-Lavalin, where they analyzed geotechnical reports, designed cut and fill sections for a highway deviation, and analyzed slope stability and settlement using GeoStudio software. In 2016, they worked as a Quality Control Manager at Soletanche Bachy, overseeing quality control measures.

In 2015, John joined Nicholson Construction as a Project Engineer, where they worked until 2020. John managed various projects and utilized their engineering expertise.

In 2021, John joined Virunga Power and Songa Energy Burundi s.a. as a Project Development Consultant, where they are currently involved in project development activities.

John Privé attended École Secondaire Gabriel-Dumont from 2004 to 2008, where they completed their high school education. John then went on to McGill University from 2008 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their formal education, John has also obtained various certifications, including Health and Safety on Construction Sites from ASP Construction, Ontario Class G Driver's Licence and Ontario Class M1 Driver's License from the Government of Ontario, UK Ancestry Visa, Vietnamese B2 Driver's License, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (W.H.M.I.S.) Core Training from Health Canada.
