Minquan Wang

Minquan Wang began their career in 2012 as an Engineering Intern at Honeywell, where they optimized machine operation parameters and process flow to improve the quality and production efficiency. Minquan also learnt the Six Sigma system and DMAIC data-driven improvement cycle, applying the concepts and techniques in QA/QC process. In 2014, they worked as a Lab Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, they worked as a Technical Engineer at reRubber LLC and as a Summer Intern at Phosphorex, where they conducted experiments in fabrication, purification and characterization of micro-particles and nanoparticles, and obtained training on good manufacturing practice (GMP). In 2016, they joined Visbit Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented the company website and web publisher portal with AngularJS framework as front-end, Golang server as backend, and interaction with PostgreSQL database, AWS/Alicloud service, and Elastic Search. Minquan also cloud managed with Kubernetes, AWS, Alicloud, Ansible, and Elasticsearch, and implemented the streaming control panel for their service, including ReactJS and Redux-Saga framework as front-end, Golang server as backend, integrated with PostgresSQL, AWS service. Minquan built a management console from scratch for account management with Vue. js, using Vuex, Vue-resource, Vuenit for the network calls, state mutation, action dispatch and unit test, and followed the TDD flow using Jasmine and Gomock framework for the testing of controllers and handlers.

Minquan Wang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer materials Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2013. Minquan then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Additionally, they have a certification from Code School in Shaping up with Angular.js.
