Arun Tripathi

Arun Tripathi has worked in the IT industry since 2005. In 2005, they worked as an Information Analyst at Electronic Data Systems, where they provided Oracle DBA support for General Motors' Onstar US, including Oracle 9i/10g production support, RMAN, BCV, and Oracle DR. From 2006-2011, they held various roles as a PeopleSoft Oracle DBA Consultant at MetLife, Apollo Group, and Birlasoft Inc. In 2011, they became a Senior Oracle DBA Consultant at Apollo Education Group, where they were responsible for 24/7 production Oracle database support and performed an Oracle database upgrade from 10g to 11G using standby to minimize application downtime. In 2015, they took on the role of Senior Oracle DBA Consultant at the City of Phoenix, where they supported the HCMS PeopleSoft Oracle 11gR2 database on Solaris platform and implemented 12cR1 multitenant architecture on Exadata for HR and CC&B databases. In 2017, they were a Senior Oracle DBA consultant at the University of Phoenix, and in 2019, they became an Oracle Cloud Solution Specialist at Viscosity North America, where they were tasked with architecting cloud solutions to customers, RAC Database Migration, upgrade (to 18c), patching from one Data Center to another Data Center, DR solution in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with Exadata Cloud Services, and Database migration from on-premise to OCI.

Arun Tripathi received their MCA in Computer Applications from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2000. Arun has obtained several certifications since then, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2018 Certified Architect Associate in March 2019, Apache Cassandra from Simplilearn.com in April 2018, Oracle Exadata Database Machine 2014 Certified Implementation Specialist in April 2016, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional in March 2015, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Certified Architect Professional in June 2020, Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2019 Certified Specialist in May 2020, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Architect Associate in May 2020, Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2019 Certified Specialist, and Oracle Certified Professional (Oracle 9i) OCP.
