Andreas Puetz

Andreas Puetz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andreas began their career as a Working Student at ABB Automation Products GmbH in 2002 and continued in that role until 2005. Andreas then worked as a Scientific Coworker at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) from 2005 to 2005, focusing on the Insitute of Systems Optimization (ITE). In 2006, Andreas had a research internship at Tyndall National Institute. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Scientific Coworker at the Light Technology Institute at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH). Andreas then transitioned to the role of Research Scientist at the Light Technology Institute in 2008 and stayed until 2013. In 2014, they joined Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. as a Product Marketing Manager. Andreas subsequently progressed to Senior Manager, Product Marketing in 2019 and became the Director of Product Marketing for Optocouplers and Isolators in January 2021.

Andreas Puetz holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Polymer tandem solar cells from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the same institution, studying from 2002 to 2008. Andreas completed their Gymnasium education at Spessart-Gymnasium Alzenau from 1992 to 2001, earning their Abitur. Andreas also has additional certifications in Making Quick Decisions and The Six Biases of Decision-Making from LinkedIn, obtained in 2020.
