Daniel Almeida

Daniel Almeida has over a decade of experience in the engineering field, focusing on quality assurance and project management. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Laboratory Manager at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. since January 2019, Daniel previously worked at Yazaki Portugal as an engineer, where responsibilities included customer management and the planning and execution of various electrical, mechanical, chemical, environmental, and dimensional tests. Earlier roles include conducting compliance audits for energy measurement equipment at IEP - Instituto Electrotécnico Português and performing commissioning for high and low voltage installations at VersaPower. Daniel began their career with project engineering at P-Engenharia, where electric, telecommunication, and security projects were developed. Daniel holds a Licentiate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, earned from 2005 to 2009.
