Eric Phillips has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Eric began their career in 1986 as an Artist at Buster Brown Apparel, Inc. Eric then worked as an Art Director at Arcade, Inc. from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they served in the US Army as a Specialist-91P from 1994 to 2000. After leaving the military, they joined Catawba Medical Center as a Supervisor Radiology from 2000 to 2001. Eric then worked as a Staff Technologist - x-ray tech at Locum Tenes-Medical Traveler from 2001 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2009, Eric worked at Tufts-New England Medical Center as a Staff Technologist. Eric also worked as a Medical Animator/Illustrator at Freelance from 2008 onwards. During this time, they also had roles as a Medical Animator/Artist at Argosy Publishing and Visible Body.

Eric gained extensive experience in medical animation, illustration, and artistic work. Eric worked on various projects, including animating algae bloom for MIT and C-MORE institute, creating a hemophilia animation for Wyeth, and producing an animated intro movie for Diversified Metals. Eric employed software such as 3ds Max, Particle Illusions, and utilized skills in modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.

Eric Phillips has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2008, they attended NEIA and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animation & Media Arts. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they attended the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences and received a certificate in Radiologic Technology. In 1989, Eric attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College for two years and completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design/Illustration. Finally, from 1983 to 1986, they attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they studied Graphic Design/Illustration but did not complete a degree.
