Micheál McGrath

Micheál McGrath's work experience begins in 2014 when they worked as an Academic Tutor and Lab Assistant at the University College Cork, Ireland (UCC), where they taught computer science courses and provided assistance to students. Micheál then joined BeatThatBill Limited in 2014 as a Digital Specialist, where they were involved in various tasks such as app development, graphic design, social media, sales, marketing, and web development.

In 2015, McGrath co-founded MOCAL Digital Technologies Ltd and served as the Co-Founder. In this role, they managed over 70 local businesses in Cork City and implemented marketing campaigns to attract clients. Micheál also gained experience in software development and design.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Creative Freelancer and Marketing Consultant, providing services related to SEO, web development, social media management, and digital marketing and sales. During this time, they secured several clients and ensured customer satisfaction.

In 2017, McGrath served as a Digital Consultant for Electric, Sober Lane, Festival Cork & Kinsale Gin, where they provided advice and consultation in online marketing and social media channels. Micheál created online campaigns, developed SEO strategies, and managed social media advertising.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Poppulo. Initially, they served as a Community Manager, managing social media marketing campaigns and content creation. Later, they became an Inbound Marketing Specialist, specializing in targeting global audiences and maximizing lead generation. Lastly, they served as a Digital Channel Team Lead, responsible for executing and analyzing inbound campaigns.

In 2019, McGrath joined Munster Technological University (MTU) as a Part-time Lecturer, where they managed modules on lead generation and website optimization. Micheál also worked as a Lecturer at MTU, contributing to the establishment of the second technological university in Ireland and building strong industry connections.

Currently, McGrath holds the position of Head Of Marketing at VisibleThread, where they oversee and directs all marketing activities. Micheál has played a critical role in brand positioning and establishing market presence.

Throughout their career, McGrath has demonstrated expertise in marketing, digital strategy, content creation, and campaign analysis. Micheál has consistently strived for customer satisfaction, deadlines, and the quality of work.

Micheál McGrath completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science (Interactive Media) from University College Cork in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree from the same university, majoring in English and Geography, which they completed between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, Micheál attended St. Martin's College for a Fine Art Summer Programme, although the exact years of their attendance were not specified. In terms of certifications, they became a Hubspot Champion User in March 2020, acquiring the certification from HubSpot Academy.
