Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown has a diverse and extensive work experience in the research and development field. Jeff began their career at Coherent as a Scientist in 2000 and remained there until 2003. Jeff then joined Guardian Industries as an Engineer/Technical Manager, overseeing the process engineering and equipment maintenance groups. In 2007, they moved to Acree Technologies Inc. as a Senior Scientist, where they served as a Principal Investigator in various development projects involving advanced thin film materials, processes, and equipment. Brown joined Vision-Ease Lens in 2014 as an R&D Manager for PVD Coatings and later became the Director of Research and Development. In 2021, they joined Hoya Vision Care as the Vice President of Research and Development.

Jeff Brown attended McMaster University from 1988 to 1994, where they earned their Master's degree in Engineering Physics.
