Steven Nahm

Steven Nahm is a highly experienced Senior Polymer Scientist at Vision-Ease Lens, specializing in the development of functional lens coatings including photochromic, polarized, and protective features. With a robust background in product development, Steven has held significant roles at various organizations, such as NCR Corporation, where project management led to substantial improvements in product performance, and Sun Chemical, where innovative synthesis of oligomers was achieved. Steven’s career includes leadership positions as Chief Chemist at Fibercast and Senior Development Chemist at Raybestos Products Company, demonstrating expertise in resin development, manufacturing process optimization, and product characterization. Steven holds a doctorate in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and has completed post-doctoral studies at Penn State University.
