Bernie Sherwill

Bernie Sherwill has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 1982 to 1990, they worked at Ingersoll Rand as a Product Engineering Manager. Bernie then joined Black & Decker in 1990 and served as a Business Unit Manager, responsible for managing the Mortise lock business in the commercial hardware industry.

In 1992, Bernie became the Vice President of Operations at DCG Precision Manufacturing Corporation, where they oversaw all day-to-day operating functions in the manufacturing of precision components and assemblies for various industries. Bernie then moved to ITW in 1995, where they held the role of Business Unit Manager and was responsible for sales, engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality, and profitability.

Most recently, Bernie worked at Vision Engineering as the Vice President & General Manager. In this role, they had full profit and loss and operating responsibility. Their primary industries were Medical, Electronics, Defense, and Automotive, and they led the manufacturing of ergonomic stereo microscopes and non-contact measuring systems.

Bernie Sherwill completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy from the University of Connecticut from 1978 to 1982. Later, from 1984 to 1988, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration degree at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
