Adrian Barrett

Adrian Barrett has held various roles in different companies throughout their work experience. Adrian started their career at Royal Free NHS trust as a Research Associate in the Department of Surgery from October 1997 to October 1998. Adrian then moved on to Nanyang Technological University, where they worked as a Research Associate in the Computer Integrated Medical Intervention Laboratory from January 1999 to March 2000. Adrian then joined Acrobot Limited in 2003, where they held the position of Project Manager from February 2003 to December 2007. Adrian later became the Senior Development Manager at Acrobot Limited, leading the development of precision surgical systems for computer-assisted surgery, particularly in orthopaedics. Adrian worked in this role from January 2008 to September 2010. Adrian then joined Stanmore Implants in August 2010, where they initially served as the Engineering Manager for Computer Assisted Surgery before being promoted to the Head of New Product Development in August 2011. Adrian remained in this position until August 2015. Currently, Adrian is with Vision RT Ltd, where they started as the VP Product Delivery in September 2015. Adrian held this role until December 2022 when they transitioned to their current position as the VP Innovations, starting in January 2023. Overall, Adrian has extensive experience in the development and delivery of innovative products in the medical field.

Adrian Barrett's education history includes a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued an MSc in Engineering and Physical Sciences in Medicine from the same institution, completing it from 1996 to 1997. Lastly, Adrian earned a PhD in Computer-assisted surgery from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
