Ted McElroy

Ted McElroy, OD, has been a prominent figure in the field of optometry since earning an OD degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 1993. As the owner and President/CEO of Ted A McElroy OD PC since September 1994, Ted has held various leadership roles within professional organizations, including Immediate Past President and President of SECO International. Ted also has extensive administrative experience as a member/administrator of Vision Source® and has been actively involved with both the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association, where Ted served as Past President. In addition to clinical practice, Ted contributed to the field through editorial roles with Wolters Kluwer from 2008 to 2010 and has been associated with Family Eye Care as President/CEO and Staff Optometrist. Ted's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University.
