Vision Unlimited is a not-for-profit trust based in Gurugram, India.
It began in 2020, during the Covid lockdown. Two working children asked for a copybook during a food distribution drive. That moment changed everything.
Within weeks, thirteen-year-old Aradhya began teaching neighbourhood children at a painted gate. That gate became After School Club 1.
Today, Vision Unlimited runs six After School Clubs across urban slum communities in Gurugram, serving 1,400 children aged 3 to 13. 
The After School Clubs provide safe spaces for children, and stand in for adult and institutional presence in their lives. The ASCs focus on learning (foundational literacy and numeracy), school integration, health, nutrition and early child care and development.
We take evidence seriously. Nine peer-reviewed papers document what we do and what works. We are one of very few grassroots NGOs in India with a published research record.
Funding to date has come primarily through personal networks, crowdfunding and small CSR grants. 
We are now building a sustainable model, including a hybrid eye care clinic that will serve both paying patients and those who can't; to ensure this work continues and grows.
