Ivan Žilič

Ivan Žilič has extensive work experience in firmware development and management roles. Ivan currently works as a Senior Firmware Developer at Visionect, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they founded FLYFISH TECHNOLOGIES d.o.o. in 2012, where they served as the Founder & CTO. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Raycap as a Senior Firmware Engineer. Before that, they co-founded Medifortis d.o.o. in 2010 and held the position of Co-Founder & Head of Development until 2012. In 2008, they co-founded Epiatech d.o.o. and worked as the Delivery Manager until 2010. Ivan started their career at HERMES SoftLab in 2001 and held various roles including Technical Account Manager, Project Manager, Lead Software Development Engineer, and Software Programmer until 2008.

Ivan Žilič started their education journey at the Technical School for Electrical Engineering from 1984 to 1988, where they focused on Electronics. After that, they attended the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science from 1989 to 1997. During this time, Ivan studied Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as Business Vantage (BEC Vantage) from the University of Cambridge in October 2006 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Internal Auditor from SIQ Ljubljana in May 2005.
