Akila Sathsara

Akila Sathsara is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Visioneersmena since January 2020, Akila's responsibilities include preparing annual budgets, managing VAT returns, and producing ad hoc management reports. Prior to this role, Akila worked as a Senior Auditor at MERALI'S Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors, overseeing multiple engagements and ensuring timely completion of client reports. Experience also includes an Assistant Accountant position at Capital Maharaja Group, specializing in manufacturing systems and cost accounting, and a Senior Associate role at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where Akila led assurance services and received high performance ratings. Akila holds a Fellow Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and University of Sri Jayewardenepura, respectively.
