Saad Ibrar

Saad Ibrar has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Saad is currently the Vice President of Finance at Systems Limited. Prior to this, they held the same position at Visionet Systems Inc., where they led financial and accounting operations for the company and its European and Canadian entities with an annual revenue of USD 220M.

Before joining Visionet Systems Inc., Saad worked at Jaffer Brothers (Pvt) Limited as the Head of Business Finance, where they prepared finance strategies, managed business financial management and reporting, and handled financial budgets and planning for the group companies and business verticals.

Saad also has experience working at FrieslandCampina, where they served as a Plant Controller and an Associate Manager in Risk and Controls - Supply Chain Finance. In these roles, they prepared manufacturing costs, implemented risk management frameworks, conducted assessments of financial reporting and supply chain processes, and contributed to the evaluation of operational companies within FrieslandCampina Netherlands.

Earlier in their career, Saad worked at A. F. Ferguson & Co. as an Assistant Manager in Assurance & Business Advisory and as a Senior Audit Associate. In these roles, they conducted statutory audits, assessed control systems, compiled financial statements, and executed assignments for agreed-upon procedures.

Overall, Saad Ibrar has extensive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, risk management, and auditing in various industries and organizations.

Saad Ibrar obtained their degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where they studied Accounting and Finance from 2009 to 2014. In 2019, they received the Certified Information System Auditor certification from ISACA, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, Saad obtained an FSc degree in Engineering from Government College University (GCU), Lahore.
