Jon Hayenga

Jon Hayenga has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering field. Jon's career began in 1989 at NeoPath, where they advanced from a Senior Electrical Engineer to an Electrical Engineering Manager and then a Systems Engineering Manager. In 1999, they joined Micronics as the Director of Engineering, where they oversaw R&D and contributed to technological innovation for microfluidics company instrumentation and lab on chip products, and also generated multiple patents for the company. In 2005, they joined VisionGate Inc. as the Vice President of Advanced Product Development, where they managed the Engineering Department and achieved key successes such as instrument architecture that included instrument capturing and GPU server processing over 3 million images per hour, and overseeing the verification for complex instrumentation to meet FDA guidelines. Finally, in 2003, they established Lasting Mark Technology, a small laser processing and engineering business, which they own with their wife and provides technical support for.

Jon Hayenga obtained their Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Idaho in 1987.
