Jane Z.

Jane Z. is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Visionix since June 2023. Previously, Jane held the position of Scientist at Visionix USA from December 2020 to May 2023, focusing on developing corneal topography and optimizing OCT algorithms while collaborating with engineers to integrate features into medical devices. Prior experience includes an Instructor role at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where Jane worked on advanced medical imaging databases and submitted grant applications for TBI research. Jane also served as a Research Fellow involved in clinical studies and held a Research Assistant position at The University of Hong Kong, contributing to 3D shape recovery and image point matching algorithms. Additionally, Jane completed a research internship at INRIA, contributing to motion tracking algorithms and publishing findings in top journals. Jane Z. earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2012.
