"Ithaca is Gorges". As is the entire county. Ithaca is also...towering waterfalls, endless panoramic views, and Cayuga Lake, set in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Ithaca is parks, hiking, biking and boating. Ithaca is wine, craft beer and an eclectic and exciting culinary scene. Ithaca is academic, home to Cornell University, Ithaca College and Tompkins Cortland Community College. The downtown Ithaca commons, our outdoor pedestrian mall, is the cultural epicenter. The neighboring Village of Trumansburg adds a progressive flare to the county, and each neighboring town adds a unique charm to the cultural tapestry. Ithaca is sustainability. Ithaca is diverse and welcoming. There's a vibe here unlike anywhere else and experiencing it is the only way to discover it.

The CVB is a division of the Tompkins Chamber and funded through the Tompkins County Tourism Program, whose community-based model promotes the county as an attraction, and a community that visitors will want become part of. The dynamic community and landscape make it a magnificent place to live, work, go to school, raise a family, grow a business and retire. Learn more online at VisitIthaca.com.
