As the national tourism agency – a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), VisitEngland plays a unique role in developing English tourism through our work leading the Local Visitor Economy Programme (LVEP), to support business growth, as well as inform industry with statutory research and insights, and engagement activities through events and communications.

VisitEngland/VisitBritain is headed by Chief Executive, Patricia Yates and Nick de Bois CBE is the Chair of the British Tourist Authority. The VisitEngland Advisory Board is led by Lady Victoria Borwick.
