Åsa Ternström is currently the Stadsjurist for Västerås stad, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this position, Åsa garnered extensive legal experience as a Regionjurist at Region Västmanland from 2012 to 2021, and served as a Föredragande jurist at both Förvaltningsrätten i Uppsala and Länsrätten i Västmanlands län from 1999 to 2012. Åsa began their legal career as a Jurist/upphandlare at Landstinget Västmanland from 2010 to 2011. They earned a Master of Laws (Jur kand) degree from Uppsala University, completing their studies in 1998.
