Pascal Rodriguez

Pascal Rodriguez is currently the Engineering Director at Visium. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product Engineering at ZF Group from October 2021 to June 2022. Rodriguez was responsible for transitioning the Bestmile engineering teams and technology into a new home following the acquisition of the Bestmile IP and hiring of Bestmile's engineering teams.

Previously, Rodriguez was the Director of Engineering at Bestmile from March 2017 to October 2021. Pascal led the core platform development team to design and deliver a reactive and scalable microservices-based SaaS platform to orchestrate and optimize fleets of autonomous vehicles.

Before joining Bestmile, Rodriguez was the Head of Technology at Easel TV from June 2014 to March 2017. Pascal was also the Co-founder of LockStyler from October 2013 to December 2014. Prior to that, Rodriguez worked as a Software Engineer at SICPA Security Solutions SA from November 2008 to June 2014 and as a Systems Engineer at BOBST SA from August 2000 to October 2008.

Pascal Rodriguez holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland, as well as a Federal professional baccalaureate in Computer Science from EPSIC. In addition, they have various certification from Coursera in topics such as Machine Learning, Introduction to Software Product Management, Software Processes and Agile Practices, Parallel Programming, Functional Program Design in Scala, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala. Pascal also holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and an Advanced Strategic Thinking Certificate from Meaning Quotient - MQ Learning.
