Dirk Lemstra is an accomplished software developer and architect with extensive experience in both leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Lead Developer and Architect at Vitas since May 2024, Dirk also maintains the open-source image library ImageMagick as an Open Source Maintainer at ImageMagick Studio LLC since March 2013. Additionally, Dirk works as a Senior Software Developer at Visma Advitrae, focusing on source control migration and application modernization. Previous positions include Technical Lead roles in multiple organizations, where Dirk led teams in developing event-driven applications and enhancing cloud infrastructure. Dirk holds a Bachelor's degree in Hogere Informatica from NHL Hogeschool, earned between 1997 and 2001.
