Mike Ploger has been working in the media and real estate industries for the past eight years. Mike began their career in 2012 as an intern for WVIllustrated.com, where they wrote recaps for the football and basketball teams and retrieved interviews for the website. In 2013, they worked as a Sports Anchor for WVU News, a Contributor for Bleacher Report, and a Reporter for ESPNU Campus Connection. In 2014, they returned to the Washington Nationals as an In-Game Host. In 2015, they worked as a Sports Contributor for BristowBeat.com, where they hosted bi-weekly podcasts and wrote accompanying articles. In 2016, they worked as a Sports Reporter for NBC 24. In 2018, they began working as a Video Content Producer for Visme, where they wrote, produced, and hosted videos for YouTube and Visme's digital platforms. Finally, in 2020 they began working as a Real Estate Agent for Compass.
Mike Ploger attended West Virginia University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism.
