Paul Cernak is a Senior Scientist at Visolis since October 2017. Prior to this, Paul worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley from February 2014. Paul developed high efficiency CRISPR/cas9 gene integration technology for the first time in the yeast Kluveromyces marxianus during their time at Visolis. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (Biochemistry) from Portland State University.
