Basak Baran

Basak Baran has a diverse work experience in the field of design, spanning over a decade. Basak started their career at Dirty Cheap Creative as a Web Designer from April 2008 to July 2009. Basak then joined Dogan Online DOL as a User Interface Designer from April 2010 to October 2012. After that, Basak worked at Hurriyet as a Senior User Interface Designer from October 2012 to December 2015. Basak'smost recent position was at Vispera, where they initially served as a UX Designer from January 2017 to February 2020, and then as the Lead Product Designer from February 2020 to the present, with the end date unspecified.

Basak Baran started their education at the American Collegiate Institute (ACI) / Özel İzmir Amerikan Koleji from 1991 to 1999, where they completed their high school diploma. Basak then attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology. Baran furthered their education at Emerson College from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Visual and Media Arts.
