David Sloan

David Sloan currently serves as the Chief Accessibility Officer at Vispero®, having begun this role in October 2023. With extensive experience in accessibility and user experience, David has been with TPGi since May 2013, holding multiple positions including Practice Manager for UX, Principal Accessibility Engineer, User Experience Research Lead, and Principal Accessible UX Engineer. Previously, David led the Digital Media Access Group at the University of Dundee from July 1999 to April 2013, focusing on research, teaching, and consultancy in accessibility and inclusive design. Earlier in David's career, a position as a Database Cartographer at HarperCollins from July 1994 to September 1998 involved creating and maintaining digital cartographic data. David Sloan holds a PhD in Computing Science and an MSc in Applied Computing from the University of Dundee, as well as a BSc in Topographic Science from the University of Glasgow.
