Steven Case

Steven Case has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Steven is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Vispero™ since September 2019. Prior to this, Steven worked at Walden University in various roles including Emeritus Faculty, Faculty Member, Academic Program Director, Core Faculty, and Part-time Core Faculty between 2010 and 2021.

Before joining Walden University, Steven served as an Emeritus Faculty and an Associate Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Steven also held the position of Department Chairperson and Assistant Professor during their tenure at the university. Additionally, Steven founded Boreal Software Consulting and served as its President and Founder.

Earlier in their career, Steven worked as an Assistant Professor and Director of Emerald Coast BEST Robotics at the University of West Florida. Steven also worked as an Associate Professor and Department Chairperson at the University of the Virgin Islands.

Prior to their academic positions, Steven held various engineering roles at ViA, Inc., Computing Devices International, Unisys Systems Corporation, and Control Data Corporation, specializing in software engineering and consulting.

Steven Case completed their education in the field of Computer Science. Steven obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1984. Steven later pursued a Master of Science degree at Nova Southeastern University, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. Continuing their academic journey, Steven Case obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University, completing their doctoral studies from 1999 to 2003.
