Valentin Sagl

Valentin Sagl is a Senior Software Engineer at Visplore since January 2021, where responsibilities include leading and designing various projects such as the data import process for an Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) system. Prior to this role, Valentin served as a Researcher at VRVis Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung Forschungs-GmbH, working on a visual analytics tool utilizing C++, OpenGL, GTK, and Python during a master's program. Additionally, Valentin gained experience as a Visiting Research Student at the University of Saskatchewan, developing a blink detection system for webcam videos with Python and OpenCV, and previously completed an internship at VRVis, focusing on creating an external network API for visual analytics software. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Game Engineering and Simulation Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both obtained from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien.
